I got my ticket in January with all the others I was going to, and haven't been to any :(

I am looking forward to this one as the last (only) one of the year.

still selling tickets

if they cancel on Monday i will be very annoyed...just a cash in on people who never apply for a refund

i like santa pod but not that much, they have whacked the prices up now there is no competition from shakey.... id rather stick a few quid into york raceways coffers they need it more

i will extract my refund and punt off a furious email if they dick us about....

here's the latest on the santa pod website https://santapod.co.uk/coronavirus.php
almost as i thought, at the bottom it says any cancelled events will mean ticket holders get a full credit (not a refund) for future events including ticket postage costs. this is also valid for 24 months not the normal 12. anyway have a read, it's pretty straightforward.

The RULE OF 6 e-mail was sent out by Santa Pod tonight and says that the event will go ahead but the camping is strictly abiding by the new rules.

The Rule Of Six - Upcoming Events At Santa Pod
STRICTLY Pre-Booked Tickets Only (including children’s tickets)
No Tickets or Sign-On available on the gate on the day
Stay Safe In Sixes
The latest Government announcement states that from Monday 14th September, you must not meet with people from other households socially in groups of more than 6. This will apply indoors and outdoors, including in private homes. This change will simplify and clarify the rules on social gatherings, so they are easier to understand and easier for the police to enforce.
As a COVID-19 Secure venue, Santa Pod Raceway as a venue can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups anywhere on site, this includes camping also. This rule will not apply to individual households or support bubbles of more than 6 who will still be able to gather together. From Monday, this limit will be enforceable in law.
Please do not expect to set up a campsite consisting of more than 6 people (including children), this will not be allowed; in order to safeguard the continuation of camping at Santa Pod, we ask you to adhere strictly to the rules. Authorities can now close venues that are breaking the rules. Fines will be in place for venues who are not complying.
The ‘New Normal’ at Santa Pod – Important Information
Please take the time to read up on our NEW Covid Regulated Campsite & Venue Rules and familiarize yourself with them ahead of your visit to make your stay as enjoyable as possible for yourselves and those around you.
