A few pics from Bank Holiday Monday at Knebworth Park, just a few miles down the A1.
A bit of drizzle throughout the day probably kept a few away but there were a few gems there to make it worthwhile, not least of which was Andy (Motorama)'s 54 Cadillac Eldorado convertible
£4 for the car and as many passengers as you can get in. £11.50 per person for public/spectators. Take note Brooklands etc
PS apologies for the last 2 being on the wonk, can get them to show as 'portrait' whatever I do with them Will have to get the tech guys on it... Martin?!

Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
I lasted about an hour, weather was miserable and the turn out was extremely low compared to previous years.

Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
Thanks for Posting, I think in many respects your pictures make the show a lot better than it felt in the flesh!
I do not know if the numbers were deliberately restricted, but it felt a lot smaller than the peak days of the "Rally of the Giants" and similar events.
We spent a LOT more time over on the Fort than we did in the car show!

Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
Always nice to catch up with you guys, despite the cold and damp weather we still enjoyed the day, we got there at 10 and stayed till 3 before frostbite set in
some cool cars there i thought
i loved the grey Tatra, very cool thing that was like new
the black 68 Lincoln belongs to a good friend, he's owned it since the mid eighties, amongst others he owns the Ghia that caused a stir at the Redhill Cruise
Steve Fosters 57 Ninety Eight Oldsmobile Coupe is a belter and the white 59 Ford Galaxie Sunliner that was parked with us was imported by a friend off the second owner last year, has only covered 32k miles from new, its had a bit of paint but is super straight and solid, never been apart, totally original inside

Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
Thanks for posting. Can't recall the last time I saw a Renault 15!
Alan; whose 72 Challenger is inexorably taking over the house.
Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
And we can do it all again on Sunday at Brooklands, just hope it's a bit warmer and drier!Motorama wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 21 9:46 am Always nice to catch up with you guys, despite the cold and damp weather we still enjoyed the day, we got there at 10 and stayed till 3 before frostbite set in

I noticed the Lincoln driver got out as soon as he'd parked and rushed over to look at that champagne (sand?) coloured Zodiac that was parked nearby, like we would have done if we'd seen a 71 hemi cuda convertible...
I heard he owner saying it had done just 26,000 miles. Nice clean car but not one of my faves. Your Lincoln man seemed to like it tho
Must be a Ford thing...
Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
Roy's 69 Mach 1 looking shiny as always.
Re: Knebworth Classic Motor Show
Thanks for posting Rob. I do like a Vauxhall Firenza, reminds me of a misspent youth. Try finding one nowadays. I think the Droop Snoots survived better than the normal Firenza’s and Magnum coupes. Mind you, I did for a couple myself !
