Can’t taking mine on Sunday now, fuel sender is leaking. It’s only a year old too. I understand the new seals don’t fit older tanks properly, only new tanks.

That’s a bugger, not heard about the seals but the new locking rings that come with sender units are thinner than the originals so it’s best to reuse the original to avoid leaks.

Yes a mate did that and hasn't made a problem.

I could buy a new sender but the same might happen again. Might need a new tank.

I am sure you could get creative whilst still being safe and get to Brooklands.

As a few of you know the Barracuda let me down en route and I had to limp it home with a bad misfire. I had suspected it was an ignition or possible charging issue but it turned out to be a rocker adjuster that had backed off and bent due to twatting the rocker cover when I investigated this morning. Wiseman enterprises luckily had a spare so that was fitted and all the others checked for tightness, so back in the game!

Ouch! Good to hear you got it sorted. Looking forward to seeing the new incarnation at the Nats if I don’t see it before. :thumbright:
