Wheels Day April 15th 2022

Post by Derek »

Well it looks like is on this year but no club stands. A few of us in previous years have meet up on the A3 and cruise down together and park together.

This is whar SSR have put out.

Well ladies, gentlemen and everyone of the SurreyStreetRodders,We're pleased to announce all is go for this year's Wheelsday and you are now able to register your car for this year's show. It's been 2 years since we were last able to hold a physical show so we're super excited to once again be able to welcome everyone with their wonderful machines back to Rushmoor Arena. You've all had 2 years to tweak, build or rebuild your interesting vehicles so please head on over to www.wheelsday.net and register your vehicles there. All tickets allow entry of the registered vehicle into the show for display on the show field along with the driver and 1 passenger. Additional passengers can pay on the day at the gate. Unfortunately this year we have taken the tough decision to put dedicated club stands on hold. If you would like to park up together we ask you to meet up outside the show before entering the arena and enter in convoy. Please remember as always with Wheelsday, the show is totally non-profit and for charity. The money raised goes to local good causes & none of our members make any money from the show. We donate 100% of our time free of charge. By attending the show you help us continue the show and support the 100s of good causes we have donated to over the last 47 years. As you are all still aware we are all still dealing with coronavirus and the extra measures needed to help protect ourselves and others, especially the more vulnerable. As you would expect, your safety and that of everyone who attends the show is of paramount importance to us. Although the show is open air we want to make sure the show is as safe for everyone as we can so we will have extra cleaners and sanitiser stations on site for everyone's safety. All that's left to say is, thanks for everyone's support over the last 46 shows, your continued support this year and here's to many more in the future. Many thanks from all of us at the SSR!
Are we there yet dad ..... 10 to the gallon but worth it.
