Hi Andy! Clad you made it back Ok.
So sorry that I did not have enough time to talk to you properly at the Nats, it was so busy when you are racing.
Glad you got the old girl back safely.
All the best!
Pete.

Re: I assume you’ll all be at the Euronats?
Big thanks to Pete and Jon and Pete for sorting my MSD dizzy and Pete Christmas for having the springs. Timing is miles better. Great weekend, the thursday early entry is a good bonus from the Pod. Sorry the axle went Andy coming so far but at least you got your 9. Great to see old regulars and meet new racers as well.
if you think speed kills don't get on a plane

You are most welcome, the old girl certainly picked up once we had done the work!

Re: I assume you’ll all be at the Euronats?
Had a Great Nats Weekend thank you to all
trials and tribulations getting there
dodgy igntion module x2 turned a 2 hour drive into 4. set off 5:30 thursday and arrived about 9:40.... with frazzled nerves
longest 5 minutes of my life stuck in the middle lane of the m25. i have no emergency flashers....
I assumed it had fould the plugts in traffic, quick jet change on the hard should....pretty terrifing
then conked out in olney 3 times
suspected overheating on the Dragstalgia return trip 3 hours of stop start traffic on the second hottest day of the year. probably did in my igntion module.
it eventually failed on thee way to Nats in olney.. I rolled into town square carpark and annoyed the locals, It was replaced with a faulty one out of the box... who knew...? no power and backfire over 1500 rpm
by 2:30 friday i was smiling again having dismantled and fiddled with just about everything igntion and carb related.
many thanks to pete and dave who made suggestions that modified my thinking...its electrical dave and why is your timing so wobbly above 2000 rpm.. what did you change..... AHHHH i put in a decnt new module.... NOT.
and Blue and Stu for moral support dizzy twisting etc etc
cheap chinese ignition module replaces new delco branded one and jobs a goodun. now put everything back as it was
few runs down the track on saturday 2 seconds slower than before covid
turns out i had left a stud in the linkage sitting proud and only had 1/2 ---3/4 throttle action.
or i am just crap....i'll need tpo prove it 1 way or the other.
by the time i relaised my throttle action was restricted, it was beer o clock
all good fun.
great to see Guy James Laura, andy miles simon matt, derek john scott, mike, adrian P +Mrs, the mustang massive, the NSS mob, and well loads more if i missed you out sorry...
beer food chat beer chat food beer chat wander food chat beer fall asleep in Dave's gazeebo... bed
home again 2 pm sunday with a trouble free 2 hour blast back.
all good
if i missed you totally. see you at the HRDs

A great time and great company.
Those of you who know Dave, you will understand that a chat with him is like taking a Mind-expanding Hallucinogenic. All good fun.
Glad the return trip was less fraught.
I think Blue and I need to open a garage at the Nats - we certainly had a steady stream of custom there!!
