i am still waiting to win the euromillions so i can grab the mushroom colour xb 351 but the shop keeps selling me dud tickets !!
Its down to 65K now, needs to sell to Aus to get that money. Mark won't sell his orange one at all.

The XB is top dollar by Oz prices now. Although it is one of four and a survivor....but it is also mushroom. I think I would have painted it a colour of my choice and then factored that into a sale for the future (I'll have it repainted in mushroom if you really want that). My mate did that with his '70 Mustang fastback. Kept the numbers matching 302 with C4 auto back in 1993 and fitted a 460 with Turbo 700 Chev 4 speed auto but did all the mounts so they are completely bolt on/off (Ikea of the 90s). Luckily for him he's a very talented engineer. If he ever sells it, they can have choice of engine/gearbox or he can split to make more himself.....in saying that it may now be under water in the Townsville floods.

does mushroom on an XB not carry the prestige of hemi orange or penta magenta on a RT charger :)

sounds like the hot mustard/bahama yellow/Baby Cack SMA nappy, of the ford world.....

ahh---well can't be helped

:)

Hey Dave
Was such fun following you.... and as you know totally un meditated.
Great fun when I eventually decide that my little 350cfm 2 Barrell Holley need to have a let out, appreciate you being a gent and teasing me. Lovely in the M25 just having fun and driving ‘Mellow”. .... Hope all the over drivers enjoyed us “taking it easy”.... then when we had a little fun ha ha
