Green VF back on Ebay

Post by Ace Dropshot »

The Kermit VF is back on Ebay but now with a significant price hike to £34k!

I guess it's a different seller. The previous pictures looked like they were from a dealer. The new pictures reveal that the light clusters in the front guards have been filled in. Shame as they are a distinctive feature. I guess they were damaged and owner at the time didn't want to make the effort to try and source replacements. Impressive machine, but not sure about the choice to replace with a Ford engine.

The way A body Mopars are selling(or not) at the moment that would need to be around 10 grand to stand a chance, it would struggle at half that price..

you might sell a mint un messed with one

or indeed a 360 engined sympathetically modified one in oz for $30K maybe more

but that's in Oz

people who want a dart don't want a RHD dart with a grill like a Mk2 cortina or a hillman hunter

I do but i'm not going to pay that

welcome

well i think you got a rare thing

an aussie mopar that's been here a long time with a solid body.

it would be well worth investigating if a big section of the chassis rail where the rear gearbox mount fits was chopped out to fit the ford trans.
if nothing was done to put back the strength there it might be worth getting the flying ends of the cross member tied into a thick horse shoe of steal set into the trans tunnel. many don't bother when they put none mopar boxes into a mopar....but it seems kinda wrong not to do anything

i'd enjoy it for a few years and then if it was me id be putting a 360 in it with a 904

that ford motor and box will pique the interest of a wide range of punters in the UK i'd guess.... there are loads of mustangs about

Great looking car, looks like you've got the hang of the photo resizing.

Is that green metallic?
