HOL 856L - 1973 VH Estate

Post by CLPete »

This is one that got away - I missed out on buying this photo. My 99p bid was put on early as I honestly didn't think anyone else would be interested in this & other similar photos. Lost out at the last moment as I wasn't watching the sale.

HOL 856L. 1973 VH Estate.

DVLA says untaxed since 01.04.1985. Lasted 12 years, which isn't too bad. Kept the yellow colour according to the DVLA. V5c last issued 04.09.86, so sat around just over a year untaxed before the final sale. 5.2lt V8 not the 6. 1973 model (yellow indicators) but "in transit" due to shipping times as the last VH was made in March 1973.

Sadly there are no UK-sold VH sedans or estates left now (that I know of).

No idea if there was a comment on the back of this photo sadly.

Hi Matt, I don't know why I think it, but isn't that one a South African model?
