Dodgy CAD drawings... come across a few of those in my time .... always somebody else's of course
Ha, interesting ! So how many Design/Draughting Engineers do we have in the club? I've been in various Senior Mech Engineer/Engineering Manager roles for 30 years or so, now trying to eke out a living freelance with my trusty seat of SolidWorks...
Will, please tell me to mind my own business, but I'm always impressed by the equipment you have access to, I guess a few of us have a hobby lathe etc. tucked away in the shed, but big CNC stuff, CMM, is this your business or do you just have a bigger toybox than most of us ?

Yup, been draughting / design engineering since 1980. Using Solidworks full time for the last 14+ years but first used it in 98 and before that first used Autocad in 89. Before that was the good old drawing board!
Wow Guys I didn't know we had so many solid works CAD skills in the building!
If anyone is free to and willing to donate some time we are really lacking in the CAD department !
Regarding access to equipment, I'm very very lucky to have some great people on board supporting this project with access to some amazing big boys' toys.

So do you want to send the air up/over the rider ? I assume you dont want to encase the rider in any way; although frankly its pretty much a missile anyway !
If you send it up-n-over creating a little vacuum for the rider how do you get it to reattach behind ? What a fun little problem (speaking as someone with zero knowledge of these things).
