Really good work. 8-)

I'm impressed with how tight you got the headliner on those sail panels. :thumbright:

THANKS DAVE.

I must admit the headlining was perhaps the worst job of the lot,it took 2 of us about 6 hours!!! to get it right,I placed the headlining on the roof and put in in the heated spray oven for a while till it became really pliable,it made the job far easier.+ I had no seats in so access was far better, mind you if you could turn the car upside down!!!!!!! I WISH.

Yeah I did mine on my own in the middle of winter. It was not fun. And those "teeth" at the front above the windscreen are bloody sharp!

HEADLINING.

Post by JL67 »

It must have been nearly rigid!!,saying that I did mine in the winter but just found it to hard hence the spray booth and some help from a heat gun.I bet the guys in the factory could fit them in no time.

QUESTIONS.

Post by JL67 »

If anybody has any questions please ask,the whole resto took me about 3 years, mainly evenings and week ends, most things were pretty straightforward, the only thing i left to the pros was the paint,as I said before thanks to all who supplied items along the way,and many hours were spent on the computer,I must say many items were purchased from the states both new and used,e.g the steering wheel only cost me $90.00 inclusive of shipping from ebay, thats just one example, and i managed to find the supply company for YEAR ONE and had some parts shipped direct for a lot cheaper!!
Anyway hope you have enjoyed the pics and thanks for the comments,

15 left to go!!

Just to think I've been driving past your house for the past three years Pete not knowing where you live and all that was going on in the garage!

There's enough there for your own web site! ;)
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.
