Re: I have a fish story

Post by drewcrane »

Mean while in Eastern Colorado , we went to the upholstery friend ,he did my challenger 25 years ago, great guy, he has a shop at his house with an amazing view of the front range of the Rockies ,he has a ton of talent ,his son helps too they made a metal fabricating machine to roll the head liner for a 28 Ford, all hand done, and a slick wood over head console ,the car will be all leather from Italy,he had 4 rolls of the stuff ,costed over 6 k, way out of my league ,we will be using cloth and we will have them custom made using the stock seats, and Dave will add some side bolsters ,back support ,and some contrast ,but still keep the stock look but with a modern twist ,still at this point we are in no hurry but this is the next step to getting the car done, it is finally looking and driving like a real car,I have been chasing and working out bugs,so the tinkering is never over ,couple of scenic pix tossed in for fun, still a very mild winter here, not alot of snow or cold

What an incredible location, I can only dream of living somewhere like that. Many of us Brits crave the wide open spaces and big skies of the US....

You can move here, and you would fit in great, but it has gotten so expensive to live here for new comers,I saw a sign just today a 1200 square foot house renting for $2500.00(1783.00) and it is on a busy street, awful yard,it is a great place to live, but to many people want to live here and they are driving up costs, because of the beauty ,and summer/winter sports ,yea come on over, bring your money ;)

That's about what we have here, as an average - some well below and some a fair bit higher :?
