I am starting to think that you are Barking - but in a nice way - and very talented.

i gave up on the expanding foam idea. in some places it stuck and in others it didn't. probably would get there eventually but got bored. cleaned it off and going to layer it with vinyl to build up some areas, then a full layer of thin foam then a last layer of vinyl over that.

restoring the plastic trims now. I have some Black and Red pin stripe tape coming to try to see which colour I prefer. probably be Red to break up the Grey/Blackness of the interior. then lacquer to seal. the faux chrome is aluminium tape polished.

Apologies if you've already explained this but, what happens to the 4 speed hump in the tunnel when you go RHD?
Grow a longer left arm or are you going auto?

Looks like it came out of the factory that way! Lucky that the design of the dash has allowed you to swap trim across rather than having to make new pieces. What silver did you use to paint the trim? it has just the right finish.
