Not much really Dougie  pretty much a minimum 12hr day from arrival till the ferry home.
Journey time to get to the car, its just under 11hrs driving and 2 3/4hrs on the ferry :D

Thought it would be something like that Dave.

It takes us a day to get up to Lochinver even from here - do like to stop for a decent lunch etc. though!

More power to you =D>

Decided to have a couple of hours in the garage this afternoon. Thought I'd have a go at the Sail panels, wasn't going spend silly money on what is effectively cardboard and I had the damp damaged originals...

It's getting close to the end of my week out here in the the North Atlantic :) return home Sunday morning.

Got most of the interior back in, and pretty much sorted all the wiring/ lights except for the screen washer.
Lost almost a day sorting out Stephen's new toy... bought himself a scissor lift, what a great bit of kit.
Will make fitting the brake system and exhaust so much easier.

Damn that is some effort. Definitely the award for ‘furthest travelled’, amazing. Some day I can’t be assed to walk 10 yards to my garage🙈😀

Yeah sure makes everything a damm sight easier, that steering box swap was a doodle and it's a lot better than the original :thumbright:

Well I'm now on my way home, just left Stornoway

Been another productive week and its almost useable,
fuel line is in and the brake line to the rear. Drums brakes assembled, parking brake cable connected, Callipers rebuilt and fitted. Steering box swapped for a better one I got from Neil.
Had a couple of hiccups, didn't properly check the Master cylinder rebuild kit, I'd glanced at the packet and wrongly thought both pistons were in the box, so I had a new primary but no secondary #-o
Decided to just order a new Master from Rockauto and send it directly to Stephen, that was Friday night then on Saturday as we wanted to fit the driveshaft to aid with the layout of the exhaust, we found one of the UJ Bearing cups was missing, must have fallen off as the prop ends were bagged up so no hope of finding it. On checking the size of it Stephen reckoned the remaining bearings were showing signs of wear anyway.

So there we are at the end of the week what remains on the list to get it useable is,

Front brake lines,
Master Cylinder,
Exhaust hangers as its only suspended by string for mocking up :D
Transmission lines,
Replace a UJ,
Fit the wiper arms/blades.

Stephen reckons he'll finish the brakes when the new Master arrives and finish mounting the exhaust.
Another 5 weeks till I have another week booked off so maybe next trip we get a drive?

Here's some photos and a video,
