I just read right through this thread Kev. What an epic job, but the results are a credit to you. What a fabulous car.

Hope I haven't stolen your thunder by posting pics of it on the Past'n'Curious thread.

Thanks Kev, they look really good. I see they list the lenses for dash lamps too, I need those.

Thought its about time to try and get this thread up to date at last so I will start with the seats - Where the car had been parked with a cover over it I think the local Foxes had got in and made themselves at home on the front seat !!

The rim on the front base had rusted away so we had to make new rims - I tried to get some 2nd hand frames but they were like gold dust, when I did find a pair I think they were made from the gold dust!!!

The rear seat looked OK dirty and split - but once stripped the frame was rotten, managed to locate a 2nd hand frame blasted and powder coated all good.

With the help of Legendary covers they all came good - just a few creases to come out in the sun :-k

I covered the whole of the interior including the door skins, rear quarters & roof with Dynamat

Then covered the floor with a further 4mm of high density self adhesive foam

Fitted the carpet and melted in the holes for the seat fixings & seat belts

I bottled it with the headlinning,I started it-thought it would probably take me a couple of days with 2 or 3 of us to hold and push and pull it into place and would still not look right so got a couple of local guys in to do it for me(they came to me did it in a morning :roll: )
