Temporary brace tacked in and the remaining metalwork removed. Bit of grinding to clean everything up and reassembly can commence..

First trial fit looks promising, very impressed with the fit of these AMD panels so far.

Rear panel done and brace removed, that’s the easy bit done. Start welding the quarters Tomorrow.

All done, took it slowly and there’s no obvious distortion. Thanks for all the input and advice, I’m very happy with the result.

Are you going to break out the blue metallic (B5?) to go with the engine bay, rather than repaint the repairs in white? :-k

I'll have to do it white for now Rob though it makes sense to paint inside the boot blue while it's all stripped out. Repaint will happen in the not too distant future when I've finished dealing with all the odd bits of body damage.

Finally 3/4 of the way up the quarter the filler is finally starting to get thin. I’m adding a mere smear compared to the amount I’m taking off. Other side is much better luckily.
