The jury is out on wether the “eyebrows” on the lower front panel were painted Matt black from the factory or not but I prefer it that way.

Winter upgrades in preparation for next years fun and games. I’m going to need an ignition system with a few more features so out with the trusty FBO and in with a Daytona Sensors CD1 which should do everything I will ever need. First step is to make my usual drop down mounting panel. The ill fitting ashtray has always bugged me so I’m on with making a delete plate as you do…

Out of interest, what gauge ali do you use for panels like that and your dash speaker cover?

1.2mm I think that is. If its just a cover that bears no weight I use the really thin stuff B&Q sell.
