Originally a white car Dorian, with a blue interior but white seats and door panels, odd combo. I have redone the interior in the correct blue colours, there are 5 shades used on different items, blue seats now and blue door panels will come next and one of these days B5 blue bodywork.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
All back together. Folding rear seat has never worked since owning the car due to broken and missing parts. Eventually I managed to get the bits I needed so it's been stripped, rebuilt and now works.
Rear side windows have never rolled down correctly either, greasing and unsiezing has only partially worked as I have found some of the plastic rollers are broken. So, new roller kit and some blue door panels to order once the madness is over.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Rear side windows have never wound down fully and one side was very hard to get back up again so thought I'd have at it. I could see at least one of the rollers was broken so ordered up a repair kit. Normally I'd be stripping out regulators and glass and fitting fixed lexan, so this is a new one on me.
Reading up online it was sounding like one of those jobs not for the faint hearted. It's actually pretty straightforward although its fiddly and needs patience. The alignment was ok so I ran a felt tip around all the washers on the adjusters and stripped it all out in the order suggested. It just needed cleaning, the rollers replacing , a couple of bits unsiezing and a good greasing. Refit in reverse order, line up the marks, done!

Re: Blue's Barracuda
So onto the doors, I already have the paint so I might as well do the last bit of the interior that needs work. This is the starting point...

All weatherstripping and window whiskers plus the usual stuff removed ready for prep. The regulators are dead easy to remove so I cleaned and lubricated them and they work silky smooth now.
