Thanks gents

I’m hoping when finished it will look something like this.

I really fancy white but everyone around me is talking me out of it

Which colour should I paint it ??

Welding cutting grinding

There are not many panels available for this so most where made

Over the years the inner and outer sills had lots of patches so a frame was welded in truck to keep it square

Cut both the inner and outer sills off the car and made new ones out of sheet.

White does absolutely nothing for the lines of thet truck IMO!!

The benefit you do have is that great big body line down the side, so you could possibly have two colours.

Black lower and gold upper??
Bronze/Copper would look good??

Alternative would be a nice modern pearlescent red/green?

Black Black Black! Or a two tone...

White will look like several large fridges and a couple of baths!

Maybe this sort of thing

I was no fan of white until I got my 66, but it actually sets the lines of nicely and I've grown to love it. It's your truck, if you want it white do it.

Personally I think white is a bit of a non colour, to be factually correct of course it isn't a colour. It's your truck paint it whatever colour you fancy, ain't nobody elses business, they can paint their own trucks the colour they like...

Your building it how you want, paint it whatever colour you want. It's your truck.

Love it, especially the diesel bit.
One of our local Hot Rodders has a Cummins in his 32 Ford rod, with a turbo and exhaust just pointing straight up. Its great and does 40mpg, as well as 14 sec 1/4s.
