Let me know how you go with that, although there are a couple of things about these that suggest they are repro rather than original parts, so I don't know how much they'd be (if still available). Anyway, I'm concentrating on high labour (mine), low outlay jobs at the moment so I'll be putting up with them for now. :thumbright:

Thanks, yeah I saw those, but I need 12 so that's silly money and they are for a much thicker panel, I have found a few the right diameter, but all for a much thicker panel. :thumbright:

thinking 'out of the box' then how about these? like a core plug with a lip, you'd probably glue whatever in place regardless so they could work. a pack of 20 for £8.99 isn't bad, you could order just 1 to see if it'd do the job i guess.

A whole days work and two and a half cans of carb cleaner later I can start to think about putting it all back together. Good news is there's no sign of any ethanol induced corrosion...
