All done but I may have a stripped thread on the head where the exhaust manifold bolts on so it may be heads off, I have nothing else to do so I’m not to bothered.

That does look good Derek. Let's hope it stay that way... when you eventually start using it again

I was gonna ask, is that a 26" rad? If so, was it originally 26 or have you changed it from 22? And did you change the core support? :-k

Thanks Rob and all your nice comments. :D I've even polished the underside of the hood, think I maye heve been lucky and not stripped the thread after all, I've re tightened them and run the car up to tempreture and no leaks as yet, fingers crossed. [-o<

Rob, it came with a 26inch rad from new, I was lucky when I got this one it has a lot of nice options, TonyO de-coded it for me in 1999.

yes i thought the underside of the hood looked nice too, makes all the difference :thumbright:
Good news re the thread, that would have put a downer on all that hard work, even if you were secretly looking forward to taking the head off ;)
And yes you lucked out with the 26" rad. Bast*rd
