I had the car picked up and taken to my place of work , my boss let me use the paint shop to refinish the car, not the best environment but better than my tiny garage at home, 4 full coats of base, and 4 full coats of HS clear, its got some crap in it but not to bad!

This was October 19, i let it stand till Christmas then Flatted and polished it, came up pretty good,

I doo doo'd the complete floor/bulkhead etc, then completely covered the floor again with old school Bovinen Felt, crap job but the car badly needs insulating !

The noise and heat from the flow master was to intrusive and made the car uncomfortable, and as ive now 100 miles on the car its Sooooooo much nicer to ride in! still antisocial but nicely subdued in the cabin,

Really nice job!
I am coming to believe a 56mph speed record is harder to achieve than a 400mph one!

All Done now, got a couple of Hundred miles on the old girl now, running sweet and behaving very well for her age, and overall im pleased with the outcome, its a long way from perfect but as a home brew not to shabby !!

If i remain in full time employment ive a bit of a list for the winter, but thats a fun thing, and as every fixing is new it will come apart in a flash,
Just have to see how the next few months pan out
