Might try a couple of plug welds and see if it generates to much heat
good idea, maybe try on a scrap piece first to see how bad it'll be. it'd be a shame to burn that paint and create a rust trap straight away.
maybe create the look of factory spot welds along the front edge by hitting a round flat punch into it on a bit of hard wood. then panel glue it on and you have the best of both worlds, good paint and a factory look.

Wow Terry, you are marching on with this!! That front end and plenum area is amazing, cracking job.
We were talking about this car on Sunday at The Ace Cafe, didn't realise how far you'd got in a short time.

I have door cards here I think, depends what you need.
