Jason's Polara

Post by Blue »

I wouldn't normally take on big jobs like this anymore but when it's your mate of 40 odd years its different. Its been laid up for about 4 years so needs a bit of TLC and a whole bunch of upgrades. Thanks to Paul Mander for trailering it up from Surrey, fresh battery and some fuel and it fired right up and ran like a sewing machine.

Started off with a couple of small jobs while I'm waiting to get it inside. Seems to have a minimum of "professional" American repairs luckily, but the fan shroud was barely attached and the new battery needed to go in the boot. Also many boxes of new parts to wade through..

Possibly, depends on parts availability more than anything else.

Subframe connectors made and welded in, I like a bit of structural integrity…

Great work.

That's a hell of a rotisserie you have got there, it must have made the welding much easier!

I think you were too big, mate - maybe Length or Girth, or maybe just pixel count....
