68 Charger Hemi-not-Hemi

Post by morgan »

Not quite sure what I am looking at.
I *think* its a Hemi R/T car but doesnt have a Hemi in it ?
Either way STRONG money ! Hertfordshire too but not sure I recognise it? Is it one of ours ?

Or there is one of the usual Netherlands cars for a more modest 12.5 (initially... :) )

I took it to mean it had been fitted with a 4spd and Dana from a Hemi car. Maybe I'm wrong though.

looks tidy enough

the word "hemi" is used a lot in what hes describing, but clearly its a 440 4 speed.......either way hell of a price.

Stu knows him a bit better but this is owned by a guy (Shane) we bought our Accurate exhaust from for our Satellite.
The Charger has had a hemi in it ever since I've been aware of it (8/9 years?) but last year he was talking about refitting the numbers matching 440 he still had, thinking it would be worth more, tho I didnt know he was thinking of selling it.
It was on a nice set of chrome magnums with redline tyres.

Didn't even recognise it as that car, looks like a different car on magnums and redline tyres. Looks crap on dog dirt hubcaps and steels, just so dull and lacklustre...

Agree with Blue on the wheels. Those 500s with redlines (my dream combo) look great. The dogdish set up looks better on E bodies in my opinion, 70 Cuda or similar. The Charger is lovely, tiny bit out of my price range though if I'm honest :D
