Greetings all:

Couple of Mopars for your consideration.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-dodge-dart-4/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-plymouth-gtx-7/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971- ... per-bee-3/

Plus a couple of Scouts
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1979- ... out-ii-24/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970- ... ut-800-15/

The Toro above sold for a respectable USD 21K and does give a good example of how bidding works to eliminate sniping. In short, a bid in the last 2 mins automatically extends the auction by 2 mins each time so you can get a bidding war.

Not much Mopar on BaT worth posting at the moment, so here's a selection of the current offerings which I want for no reason other than avarice (my apologies for the GM bias but that's what's there at the mo):-

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968- ... camaro-55/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-ford-fairlane-4/ (I'm not a fan of the purple trim though)
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967- ... evelle-19/

I went to see the blue 1990 Mercury Colony Park in Livonia, MI. That thing was mint and very low miles. Went for $20k in the end, makes me wonder if I should sell mine.
I am coming to believe a 56mph speed record is harder to achieve than a 400mph one!

Needs a bigger rear spoiler.

Yeah looks a bit OTT but I can turn a blind eye knowing it has a "naturally-aspirated 2.9-liter V8 was built by Radical Performance Engines of the UK and reportedly features two 1.3-liter Suzuki Hayabusa cylinder heads mounted to a custom block, along with a flat-plane crankshaft, a dry-sump system, and individual throttle bodies."

There's a surprising number of UK classics on BaT on a fairly regular basis - normally the usual TR's, MG's but there's been Heralds, Land Rovers and a MK2 Cortina recently. If there's interest, I'll include links to such on future posts.

There's also a glut of Mopar goodness today:-

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-dodge-coronet-8/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971- ... llenger-6/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-plymouth-gtx-6/ (my personal favourite of this selection).

I'd normally go for a '68 GTX too but that '60 Chrysler 300F is spectacular! :love10:
