If memory serves that was Tony O's back in the '70's, was also on the cover of a book around that time. Assume it has long since left the country, I'm sure Jim Wilson can fill in the details better than me, him being that bit older

Yep, and I can guarantee you wouldn't be able to stop let alone park in either of those locations these days.

Not that much older I reckon! Yes, that was Tony O's car back in the 70's. In those days there were several Birds in this country (7 or 8 I think) but one by one they all left for Europe or went back to the States. JC's B5 Blue bird is the only survivor of that era that's still here.

Ah yes, I think you're right John. The first car I remember seeing Tony with was a 1968 Silver Charger R/T (now a regular at the Nat's painted black) and that was in the early/mid 80's. The 'Bird came later.

It was "RED" and he got it from "DENNIS WHEATLY" ;) ;) ;)

Alan Gould got the "Superbird" from an American woman, Via Brian Brewer from Slough, who imported it from the USA in 1971.......(if my memory serves me correctly) her husband was involved with "CHRYSLER INC" :-k :-k :-k

Blimey Andy.... I remember it being originally a silver car. But yes it was painted red. You've got to make allowances for me, it was a long time ago.
