GT350H

Post by LuckyTom »

So I know a few people were surprised I sold the Charger. It was a tough thing to do as that car really was nearly the ultimate for me.

But there was a car above it on my dream list and I finally found one I could just about afford (although my finances be feeling it for a long time). After a long wait she has now arrived and I must say, even having only driven her once in port, I'm very happy.

Not a MOPAR I know, but I couldn't resist.

Yup. Hence the Gold and Black paint job too, as she was originally.

Can't blame you for that. Really nice looking car. How about some details on spec?

She's a real one, in the registry and everything. Numbers checked.

Original Hertz car, so automatic.
Stock spec engine (although not original block), all the right Shelby and HiPo bits - originally rated 306hp. Certainly feels it.

Still got original trans and the matching numbers big 9inch rear end.

Had a brake booster fitted at some point, as many did, will be leaving that on I think.

Lost her Koni shocks at some point over the past few years, I found a previous owner to look her over and he confirmed the Konis she had on her during his ownership are gone. So looking for some of those at the moment.

I've had mustangs before (and still have a 65 fastback) and I have to say they do not feel like this!

I am sure the financial pain will subside after a few good runs out. Nice Car.
