I know a lot of you are interested in all sorts of cars, like me.
You might be interested it what I have just recently bought.
I like unusual cars, and have for some time thought about owning an Australian UTE.
On the 11th of September gone I bought one in Melbourne,on eBay Australia.
It is now on its way to the UK, its left Australia, and been dropped at the docks in Singapore, waiting for another boat to bring it to Southampton.
I'm expecting it to be here mid December.
Its a 2001 Holden Commodore SS.UTE 8-)

Yes I still have the Dart tucked away in the barn, no I havn't repaired the slipping auto box, as yet..............

Here's a pic of the UTE being picked up from the sellers home in Melbourne, on it's way to the Melbourne docks.
It's now been at the docks in Singapore for 3 weeks, waiting for a boat on its way from Canada, to pick it up, which will then take it all the way to Southampton.

You can Drew, there are companies in the US that import them , and convert them to LHD, I think using Pontiac GTO parts.
Holden did export to USA Holden Monaros, they were sold a Pontiac GTOs :)

In was cheaper than my 3 previous USA imports, they were between £1700 and £1900. Australia was £1500, but you need to buy one close to a port, or the road haulage is much more expensive than USA. £215 for 30 miles
