Had Fords for a few years when I first started driving, Anglias, Cortinas,Corsairs. I was never that into them as such, they were just a stop gap till I could get something American which was what I wanted from day one. So no desire to revisit my past in that respect.

I love that Ford are still doing these bonkers high performance versions of their crappy family saloons.

Bought this new 10 years ago, and it's still my daily driver in the summer.

Only had three Fords over the years and I wouldn't say any of them were "fast".
They were "OK" but not *particularly* special? They didn't give me the silly smile I get when I open the garage and see the back end of my mopar. Glad I've been there and tried it because you always wonder "what if" if you don't try things, but I think the box has been ticked so not too fussed about having another. Certainly not the UK stuff anyway.
The only aspect of ownership I really didn't like is some of the shady charactors coming up to you every five minutes trying to buy the thing. I always wondered if they'd still be in the carpark when I came back!
What surprised me the most is given how popular they seem to be (pardon the pun) that the spares avaliability is awful? Weird.
