1948 Caddy Sedanette

Post by AllKiller »

My 1948 Cadillac Sedanette or Fast back to us

Still under going complete Kustomisation ...I had a bit of a set back, so it came to a complete stop for some while, now starting afresh.....
will be 354 HEMI old school powered and a traditional Kustom look

For a 72 year old car not any rust :thumbright:
After removing the original paint a few small dents need work, but hey its an old unmolested (until now) car.
Eventually its going to be Green n Gold

Motors stripped waiting for this virus madness to be over, to get machining done
still a long way to go yet  :)

I didn't know where to put this car Half Cadillac with Mopar running gear ??

A stock 49 and my inspiration for the build kustom 48 only made this fast back shape for 48/49 8-)

Not summoned up the courage for the roof chop yet, Steve??

Is the 300 in the background a driver or the donor?

Not going o roof chop it, I really don't think needs it,
The Kustom and stock look chopped, neither are and its a very big job on the fast back, for little change in look, so at the moment its staying at the stock height.
Thanks for looking its going to take long than I first thought with enforced break, due to what happened.
So start again. :D

That don't need a roof chop, looks perfect from the factory,, you need to bollock in hard on that Steve its a big car with lots of bits on it, and a mechanical upgrade to add to the mix,, time goes real fast, so get to it matey good luck
