yes, this one was taken with the sole intention of making it mobile and moving it on. i collected a 49/50 chevy cab and all the front sheet metal to rebody onto a more modern chassis after that and run for a while ........ maybe? :D
so i'm back to 2 projects for now, lol.
edit: make that 3 as i still plan to convert my van into a camper with dawn and i've already bought a caravan to gut for it's useful bits.

My friend Dave in Stevenage is running a Daimler hemi in his 1936 (ish) Rover hot rod.
Uses it everywhere, even just did a trip to the Isle of Wight with it.
It won a Top ten at NSRA SuperNats too.

i sold the daimler hemi and boxes today, so it looks like i'll be using the holden v8 and manual box i have in stock instead. today anyway, lol.
also i just bought an fx4 black cab to be the doner for the other (48) chevy cab and panels i bought a couple of weeks ago. that one'll be a wooden dropside truck, sort of hillbilly (walton's) style.
oh, and i swapped the fibreglass model A bed sides and tailgate that came with the truck for a pair of cycle fenders and a pair of bobbed model A rear fenders. i'll make a steel bed box so it's more practical.

What is the Holden engine? Is it a 253 or 308? Any idea what it is from?
Did you have this advertised a while back?
