Some of you who'd followed my workshop thread may recall that my brother had a project on the go early on.
Mid 70's Vauxhall Victor into which he'd transplanted a Rover 3.9 Efi & 5 speed. Once this project was rolling he put it aside to work on my Charger.
Well that's 6yrs ago now, so the Easter weekend I travelled back north to give him a hand with the electrics and see if we could get it to start.
Once we figured out the ignition module was missing and tracked one down. Then discovered the timing was 180* out, we got the result we were after.
It only ran briefly since there's no cooling sorted yet but it put a great big grin on his face when it started :D

Here's some photos and a video link

Love that era of Vauxhall, I had an FD Ventora which was carefully driven everywhere ๐Ÿ˜‚

Looks cool. Could be good for a Gerry Marshall Big Bertha replica.

Very nice shape, closest Vauxhall shape to my Torana. I think the door handles are the same.
There was a Ventora at Sywell this colour, Will try to find a pic.
