Hi racers
Just to let you know, competitors in the Nostalgia Superstock along with American Superstock will have the chance of a qualifying round on the Friday night at Dragstalgia this year.
This is one of our 'lifestyle' events, points will be awarded accordingly and the extra q round could be very beneficial as its always a busy and well attended event.
See you all there hopefully! ... :thumbright:

had a nice wheel up against a fast purple truck of neil watkins (great race that :salute: )

Good to meet you Mark, and Kelly too.

First time we had been to Dragstalgia, just went for Saturday. What a great event.

Probably the first time I have seen and understood bracket racing, with dial in times and starting at different times.
Don's Red Arrows impression looked worrying but sounds like it was caught in time.

Plenty of Mopar action, it was nice to see Paul Lisle's essentially stock Cuda against the full on race cars.

Funny cars were great to watch, and seeing cars at 200+mph terminal speed - wow!

Managed to get there as well on the Saturday, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Saw Dons car and Matts but didn’t get a chance to say hello.
Did manage to say hi to the lisles and Dave Billadeau, had to leave at 7pm to drive to Livingston in Scotland as one of our cars was booked in to a show there with Dave Robson and his corvette.
Hopefully be able to make it next year

God no Matt, left the Pod in a mates daily driver and got home at about 12:30am, got changed and packed our Camaro then left at 01:30am, made it to the hotel my wife was staying at ( she went up earlier in the day ) for about 03:30. Grabbed 3hrs sleep the headed to the venue.
Still quite a drive after a full day at the Pod but you’ve got to enjoy your weekends, :D

Nothing like packing it all in! We are doing the Hot Rod Nats then off to France the same evening, bit of advanced planning and packing required!
