I think we all know how that is all going to end....sad but true....

Permitting a car is pretty easy. The Racing is great!

Thanks Gary,
We went through TWO Torque convertors between the Nats and the National Finals.

The guys at "Thunder Road Cars" literally built me a Convertor and ring gear on Thursday and the car went back together late Thursday night.

I got it to the Track Friday morning and did not even know if the car would start up....if you saw this in a film you would not believe it.... Never give up!

It only did 3 runs on test and tune on Friday due to lack of time and getting it permitted for MSA Classes.

It ran a best of 10.50 at 129 mph.

I did a bit of tuning to make it more driveable without testing it, but it did work better in the eliminations.

I dialled in a 10.90 to be safe and stuck with that.

In the final it ran a 10.9076 or thereabouts at 123 mph....

It seems I have built a slow bracket car :(

Many thanks James.

Yes, I am quite passionate about the Class, and it seems to be going from strength to strength...

Some seriously fast cars and good drivers, I think I just got lucky. Had to happen eventually!!
