Passenger door mirror

Post by shaungriff »

I don't know if it's just my car but I can't adjust the passenger door mirror enough to see anything once I'm sitting in the drivers seat ! I'm wondering if someone's fitted a drivers left hand drive mirror at some point ? It looks original My car is rhd by the way ! Any advice please ? Thanks shaun

I know on a Charger it needs to be about 2" further back to be of any use. If you measure and put it the same as the drivers door you need a long neck to use it :thumbright:

I have just added one on passenger side on my Barracuda and okay it is not the best but I can see the side and back of the car.

Mind I have not been out with her yet.

RHD passenger side mirrors are a rare thing.
looking for one for my aussie charger

drivers side decent chrome £60 passenger side similar £300

is it round similar to US or trapezium shaped (unique to 71-76 aussie valiants).

US style mirriors might be the way to go

I have double checked my passenger side and YES

my neck needs to be a lot longer :(

but it has to stay now that I have made the holes.

will look for RHS mirror to compare and if the price is good may get one.

I've ended buying a stick on reversing/towing mirror to stick over the original glass, not ideal but at least I can see that side of the car & if someone is next to me
