MSD wire ends
Think I sort of know the answer to this but though I’d get a second opinion please chaps. The plug wire boot pictured runs very close to the header and over time has hardened and split,it doesn’t look like it’d make any difference to put a 90 degree boot on it as far as I can see,I’ve replaced it with what was on there for the moment. Protection sleeves were what I was thinking but they could touch the pipe if they’re too fat. Thorley Headers and MSD 8.5 wires. What are you running on yours please?
Re: MSD wire ends
Sometimes a 45 Degree plug end will get you out of trouble, but the Protection boots are always a good idea on tight Wedge style engines..even those will only last so long...

Thanks Pete. Are the protectors flammable?
Re: MSD wire ends
Not in my experience. However, they do mark with excessive heat.
