Correct oil pressure switch 318?

Post by TIB3300 »

Morning

My engine doesnt seem to have a oil pressure switch, so I need to get one. :-k

I have found a few but there seems to be a variant in pressure/ bar. Can Anyone tell me or point me in the right direction of a correct oil pressure switch for a 318 thanks

I would go with one that switches off at a pressure you are happy with, it is only a warning light on or off. I've had lights on some cars that Bananarama! at tick over as the pressure gets lower.
What ratings are they stating that you have found?

Why not just fit a mechanical oil pressure gauge? No sender required and it will be accurate.

Exactly, senders don't really tell you anything, pressure gauge is real world data
