Stu’s stupid question of the day…

Post by Stu »

I think I can probably just update this every couple of days, I’m on my own doing this now and on an even steeper learning curve than before, so help needed please…

Today’s question is… whilst getting up close and personal with the sump to check where the leaks where coming from, I noticed a hole in the bottom of the motor.

Stupid question for the day is… is it meant to be plugged, or is this normal? Can’t see it free flowing oil / coolant, but was just surprised to see it.

Ta. :-k

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Stu, I got a spare 360 in the garage. Which corner is the hole, looking form the front and I’ll check mine for ya.

If it’s at the rear (flywheel end) it doesn’t go anywhere. Well, if your drivers side rear core plug leaked it could use that hole to let you know😀 as it would eventually seep down through the hole.

It’s normal, probably used during the assembly process.
