Post by three counties »

Hi all, have just fitted a new torque converter, to my 68 charger, can any one tell me the right way to add the trans fluid, have put a litre of trans oil in the converter, before fitting the transmission,I normally check the fluid,in park , when the engine is running, just want to do it right, thanks

Check in "N" when hot, not "PARK"...

Cycle the transmission through all the gears a few times just in case, and then check and top up as required.
