Brake drum stuck? Try this.

Ok I posted about a stuck brake drum a little while ago. Building the brakes back up so I bought a new drum. Went to fit it and it would only go on 90% and not any further, same with the original drum.
Remembering what hassle I had before I decided to try something. I reversed the new drum and slid it over the axle hub. It wouldn’t go right down, th original would but only if I struggled.
The axle hub end must have Ben bashed out of shape at some point. Quick solution was to gently file the the inside of the new drum and within five mins it slipped over and sat perfect.
Worth a try if you ever get a sticking drum brake.
