Hi, Have just started overhauling first brake on my Plymouth Scamp. Had been standing 6 years, so really needs complete replacement parts. Can anyone recommend where I might go to obtain parts please? Ideally all springs, hold down pins & springs, wheel cylinders. Plan is to free up brakes for now, so it can be driven to move around. Axle off and full overhaul and paint, later on. Many thanks.

yeah just measure the shoes so you get the right length of pins

and if it uses the spring and hook hold down method for the shoes convert to the Pin spring and cup style of a later car, with the same size and width of shoes. you may need some washers to stop the pins pullying through the large holes in the back plate if it was supposed to have the earlier Hook/eye and spring set up which fits a bigger backplate hole.

raybestos do decent enough sundries and bits for mopar brakes i usually avoid the absolute cheapest thing on rockauto. mid price seems to be best balance between quality and cost. if buying disperate bits n bobs allways try get them them all from the same rockauto wharehouse
