Bodywork repairers

Post by robnorrington »

This is my first post so hello everyone.

Can anyone recommend a great body shop in the Surrey/Kent area.

I have a 1968 Dodge Charger RT and had the unfortunate delight of hitting a young deer and it has pushed my front bumper in on the corner, denting my passenger door and rear wing. I took the car into a body shop and they are saying it has also split the join at the bottom of the door so it’s not just a case of pulling the dents out.
I have a little rust on the corner of both doors and a stone chip which I thought I would get done at the same time. The body shop said they needed to cut a square out of the door and weld a new piece in, then spray the doors.

If this is the case then I would like it done properly by someone who comes recommended.

Any names would be appreciated.

Rob
