Interior

Post by rossk »

Hi,

Restoring the dart at the moment and want to change the interior colour, so door trims, quarter trims, armrests, headrests and bench seats.

I can get most items from places like classic industries but before I do that can anyone recommend a supplier over here or a good trimmer who can take on a task like that?

Thanks

B Trim in North London will make a good job of fitting your seat covers but they ain't cheap although they will haggle for cash..
How important to you is it that the colour is correct? if you want it right use Legendary, if not quite right for half the price will do then PG classics do a decent product but not all items will match. You will probably have to paint some parts anyway as not everything is available in all colours, I can recommend somewhere to match and mix vinyl dye if you need to do that.

Thanks Blue I’ve been looking at legendary, my plan is to change the dash pad to black, paint the dash, column and wheel black an then just keep all the interior simple.

Black seats, carpets and trims.

Currently I have all green inside which is in pretty good condition but an outer colour change is happening and green won’t exactly go with what I’m planning!

Black is easy then! If your interior is in good shape you might consider using vinyl dye, it does work very well.

I didn’t think of that as an option, I’ll look into that

I used Leonard Brooks in Harlow, really helpful service.

We use B-Trim at work, very good, not quick, not cheap - the usual story.

Legendary are very good.

As Blue said Leonard Brooks I have a light metallic green interior in my dart I got new legendary seat covers but the door cards had got sun bleached over the years so i took the covers to them and they matched it you cant tell the differance
