Hi all, a question for those of you who have replaced your fuel tanks, what have you used as a Pad/Insulator between the tank and the boot/trunk floor? I'm trying to collect everything together before the next trip North :)

I just used rubber strip, I think it was ribbed rubber flooring mat. I wouldnt use anything that holds water, like those horsehair sound pads.

I'm holding a couple of old cushioned vinyl floor tiles for this purpose when the tank is installed in the Challenger.

I used rubber matting too. I found some very fine ribbed good quality stuff from a Land Rover specialist at a Military show in Malvern. It wasnt expensive and was great quality. I think it's for floor matting in old Land Rovers,
