Can anyone recommend what to use to replace the jute padding on the underside of the roof of a car before the headlining goes back in? My uncle is restoring an old Rover and asked if I know what current products are recommended. I don't hence the question.

Re: Headliner Question
I'd use dynomat or similar, the jute or horsehair stuff is a moisture trap.

Re: Headliner Question
Yeah I used dynamat on mine - Great result
Re: Headliner Question
Hi Steve,
As well as the Dynamat there is also Dynaliner(?) in various thicknesses though don't know if that might have adhesion issues on a hot roof - may not be such an issue in Glasgow!

Re: Headliner Question
Thanks Gents, really appreciate your help on this. I noticed that too Dougie, plenty of options. Tempted to just use the Dynamat as others have used it successfully. A pal of mine used it on the floor in his 68 Mustang and it seemed to be pretty easy to fit.
My uncle passes on his thanks too
Cheers Steve
