You see that little orange thing in front of the word "Posted"? Looks like a page of paper? (First image below)

Well put your mouse cursor over that and click the RIGHT mouse button. You will get a drop down list. (As shown in the second image).

Notice the one called "Copy Shortcut"? LEFT click on that.

Now when you are posting a message (and your message box you are writing in is active) all you have to do is press Ctrl (bottom left of your keyboard) and while holding it down press "V". that will paste the link to that exact post into your message.

I can't be bothered to check through all of those pages on ignition and timing to see if i still agree with what I said back then but there are probably two points made there that need updating.

1. Mick was perfectly right. Some distributors DO NOT line up the way the factory intended. I found this out for myself eventually when I fitted electronic ignition to Rebel's Charger.

2. As far as initial timing is concerned Wil insists on a "kickback" test to find out the ideal initial timing point. Some members have found they do not get a kickback until they are well over 20 degrees.

I am not sure about going that far but Don (via Wil) has convinced me there is something to be said for it. I am just not convinced you need to go over 18 degrees.

I myself found benifits to moving from 12 degrees initial to 14 degrees. Next time out (whenever that is) I will be at 16 degrees. I intend to do some experiments with initial timing for myself. But if you want to try Wil's method visit his website for instructions.

I have also had experience of this with an electronic distributor, and led all manner of confusion sometime ago
