International B140?

Post by Dave-R »

A crazy guy gave me a lift in this old truck. Late 50s early 60s do you think? :?
I loved it.

He is thinking of fitting a small V8 of some kind (the current top speed is a little slow) and driving it to California for a holiday.

Ooh that is nice! I wouldn't change a thing. Maybe just a gearbox mod to get the cruise speed up a bit.

It is 4WD as well with front hubs you can adjust to freewheel for 2WD.

this is ed korcans truck and man was he keen on the v.p. movie,he moved here from the former chezkin 1985 ,and lives in green river utah,he knows alot of the area and was a big help finding screen shots, but man can he talk up a storm!

i remember having to slow way down just so he could catch up that thing just grinded up the road,he has alot of cars but no chally, until we showed up,and 2 days he calls me and he is looking at 2 challys so i hope he got the POINT,VANISHING THAT IS :thumbright:

where his truck is parked in the last pic is where the jag, chally chase went down and the used the hill behind him for one of the camera angles ;)

Motor looks like backwards hemi 6 :) there is no link AFAIK Chrysler Aus had nothing much to do with International

Interesting that they chose to site the dizzy bang in what i guess is the middle of the cam.

i.e right where harmonic vibration has the best chance of doing nasty things to your dizzy

guess its a low revving tuck motor through and through
