great car i had a mgc gt it had a Austin healy 3000 engine in it 3000cc straight 6 with twin Su. The only car i have ever drove it at 120mph on 5 cylinders and it scared the sh*t out of me. Mine had strange front torsion bar suspension and was a pig to work on. Forget the V8 go straight 6 cheaper and loads more torque than the v8.
