Hello everybody from the isle of sheppey kent

Post by 1stpop »

Hello there im darren hardy from sheppey in kent , it was me that brought the old mopar menace drag car about 2 years ago,
so no one else on sheppey has owned it .
i have rebuilding it due to a lot of bits missing from it , and we have had to rebuild almost all of the suspension and steering all wrong , its been a labour of love and a whole load of hate ,
had it running a little while ago and now it spat its toys out its pram with the engine .
so time for a new professional rebuild .
i have meet a few of you and chatted to others all seem very friendly .
so HI guys and girls

Welcome to the club! :hello2:

I'm sure i've seen the build thread on this somewhere (Rods n Sods)?

Love some of the fabricated pieces you've made!

Would love to see the car running down the 1/4!

Hi!
Nice work there! It'll be nice to see this one brought back to life and better than before by the look of it 8-)

I'm stealing your front strut top mount design by the way ;) Mine's crap and desperately needs a re-design and longer shox :thumbright:

If I did it again I would put the adjustable alloy plate under welded car frame . I only had room on top
