I am actually with you on that Duncan.

I have found some new ones but the seller won't tell me how old they are......

Glad you liked the Bee with those Arches filled out ;)

Pete, buy from a reputable dealer, they might be a couple of quid more but will not be someone elses old stock, although age is not so much the concern as the way they are stored. UV light is what causes degradation, which means it's a good idea to take your wheels off between meetings & keep them in a cool dark place.

If you haven't already bought?...I would have a word with Mr. Hauser Pete and perhaps go with a pair of Hoosiers and ask what compund for your weight of car....Hoosiers worked the Nuts on my '69...never know you might get a few tips from him if you start chatting re the whole set-up, although he don't give much away for nought!

The place I have found is down in the west country.

I can't vouch for the age/condition of the slicks which is my concern.

I will have to wait until Feb or March before I can afford some....
